We are now looking for an ambitious and talented Junior Scientist that would support our laboratory operations.
You will join a growing research team and your job will be to provide general support within the laboratory. You will be responsible for cell cultures and preparation of laboratory supplies, you will perform cellular assays, IF or IHC staining, you will also be involved in the analysis of biological results and in the development and validation of new methods.
You can expect things to change dynamically - what is more, surely, you will have an impact and you will have a great opportunity to play a big role in shaping the change!
Requirements
Essential
• MSc in a life science subject
• Practical experience with mammalian cell culture
• Practical experience with an independent (but supervised) experimental work in a laboratory
• Basic experience in working with cell and/or tissue-based assays
• Basic laboratory technical knowledge and skills
• Analytical thinking approach, literature search skills
• Willingness to learn and adopt new experimental techniques
• Great communication skills
• Ability to work well with others and independently
• Ability to follow written instructions
• Excellent attention to detail
• Good command of written and spoken English
Nice to have
• Experience working in a research environment or an industrial setting
• Experience with sample preparation, microscopy imaging (widefield or confocal) and microscopy image analysis
